Show Control Geekout Case Studies Call for Proposals!
The Show Control Geekout case studies during Infocomm return! For COVID and other reasons, the geekout that Jim Janninck (Timberspring) and I have organized for many years has been on hiatus since 2019, but we are returning this year on the evening of June 12, 2025, starting at 6pm.
This will be the 15th Geekout (writeups on past events here), which consists of a series of short case studies on show control, and then a social get together. More details on all that to come, but first it’s time for the call for proposals.
Here’s the details for proposals:
We have room for 3-5 short 10-15 minute presentations on show control applications.
The presentation must be on a real world (realized) show control application. Show control means connecting more than one entertainment control system. (Lighting and Sound, Sound and Video, Scenery and Video, etc.)
It's up to you to get any needed permissions for the material presented.
If we get more qualified presentations than available slots we will favor presentations by date submitted.
Submissions close on March 1, 2025 at 10am NYC time.
